Videos
I’ve added three videos, two specific to the plan-as-you-go approach with Business Plan Pro, and one a review of the Attitude Adjustment chapter. There are links in the sidebar along the right, and also right here:
- The one-minute Why This Approach video is a quick summary of why we need and want Plan-as-you-go business planning.
- The 12-minute attitude adjustment video summarizes Chapter 2 in a series of narrated slides.
- The four minute overview of planning as you go with Business Plan Pro is about how you bring this approach together with the best-selling business plan software. And, just in case your Internet configuration has trouble with the flash player, you can also click here for the same thing on youtube.
- There’s a nine-minute video on details of downloading and installing the plan-as-you-go add-on to Business Plan Pro. That one is also available on youtube, so click here for the youtube version.
Aside from these book-specific videos, I’ve also linked several videos available as background for the book and the idea of planning as you go. I’ve got more coming.
- The Just Big Enough Business Plan. I recently delivered this webinar to the Young Investors International group, which recorded it and made the recording available for use on my sites.
- This 20-minute video, Basic Business Numbers, takes you through the fundamentals of financial forecasting to give you what you really need to know to do the financial projections that are normally part of a standard business plan. It defines the key terms (sales, costs, expenses, assets, liability, and capital) and shows how they come together in the three essential projections, the Profit and Loss, the Balance Sheet, and the Cash Flow.
- I originally created this Develop Your Business Plan video for the SBA, which uses it to help loan applicants understand how and why to do a business plan. It is also on the SBA site, but this is a Youtube version.

There’s a series of video interviews with me talking about planning, small business, growing a company, and related topics as one of the featured experts at SBTV.
